From $175/mo on the Lawn Plan

Weekly lawn mowing in Charlotte, on a flat monthly price

This is the service most of our customers start with and the one we are pickiest about. A mow is not just a mow: cut height, blade sharpness, mowing direction and what you do with the clippings all change how a lawn looks two weeks later. We run it on a flat monthly plan so the price is the same in a wet May as it is in a dry August.

What a maintenance visit covers

  • Mowing at the right height for your grass, fescue at 3.5 to 4 inches, Bermuda lower
  • Alternating mowing direction so the turf does not lean
  • Edging along sidewalks, driveway and curb with a blade edger, not a string trimmer
  • String-trimming around beds, fences, mailboxes and tree rings
  • Driveway, walks and patio blown clean before the truck leaves
  • Blades sharpened every week, because a dull blade tears grass and browns the tips

What it doesn't cover

  • Bed weeding and shrub trimming (those are the Plus tier)
  • Fertilization, weed control and aeration (the Complete tier, or booked separately)
  • Bagging clippings by default; we mulch them back in unless you ask

Saying so up front is cheaper for both of us than finding out on the day.

Lawn Mowing & Maintenance questions

How often do you mow?

Weekly from March through November, every other week from December through February. Fescue grows fast in spring and fall and barely at all in January, and the schedule follows the grass rather than the calendar.

Will it be the same crew every time?

Yes. Routes are built by neighborhood, so the same two or three people see your yard every week and notice when something changes. That is how the brown patch gets caught in June instead of August.

Do I need to be home?

No. Almost nobody is. We need a gate we can open and a dog that is inside, and we text you when we are on the way.

What happens when it rains?

We do not mow wet fescue; it rips and it ruts. We push the route a day and text you the new time. If a whole week washes out, the next visit is not charged twice.
