Prices shown are for lots up to a quarter acre with a typical Charlotte front and back. Quarter to half acre runs about 30% more; over half an acre we walk it and quote it. Weekly visits March through November, every other week December through February when fescue slows down.
What moves the number
No black box. These are the four things we look at on the walk-through, and the only four that change the price.
Time on the mower is the biggest single input. A quarter-acre corner lot and a half-acre Mint Hill yard are different afternoons.
Fescue wants fall aeration and overseeding. Bermuda and Zoysia want neither, but they want a different fertilizer schedule. Complete is priced for either.
A yard with six foundation shrubs and one bed is a Plus yard. A yard with forty feet of hedge and four beds is quoted as one.
A gate the mower fits through, a slope we can work safely, a driveway to park on. None of these change the tier; all of them can change the number.

Lawn Plan questions
Why is the price the same in winter?
Because it is a yearly amount of work split into twelve equal payments. Weekly visits from March to November and every-other-week visits in winter add up to about forty visits a year; you pay for those, spread flat, rather than a big invoice in May and nothing in January.
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month. Thirty days' notice if you want to stop and we finish the month properly. We keep customers by showing up, not by locking them in.
Can I add the fertilization program later?
Yes, and most Essentials customers do after the first summer. Moving between tiers is a text message.
What if my lot is bigger than a quarter acre?
Quarter to half acre runs about 30% more than the numbers above. Over half an acre, and most of Mint Hill and Waxhaw, we walk it and quote it, because a two-acre yard with a septic field is not a formula.
Do you bag the clippings?
Not by default. Mulched clippings are free fertilizer and they do not cause thatch on a lawn that is mowed weekly. We bag on request, and we always bag on the first cut of an overgrown yard.
